Natalie Amaya

Similar to Miss Ronstadt, Natalie grew up in a bilingual, and very musical home. Her father sang everything from Frank Sinatra, to Mario Lanza and Pedro Infante, while her mother loved to sing harmony to classic R&B and rock music.

Natalie began singing at a young age, focusing on classical music, but she developed a love for classic rock and musical theatre. She earned her Actors Equity card at 23 years old with the Los Angels production and National tour of the musical Selena Forever. When she returned to the Bay Area, she continued to perform in Musicals at various theaters across the Bay; Most recently In the Heights at Center Rep.

In 2005, she was a finalist in the Univision TV show "Objetivo Fama." She also shared the stage with Alvaro Torres, singing his duet with Selena, "Buenos Amigos" in Puerto Rico, Mexico, and her father's home country, El Salvador

She currently resides in the SF Bay Area teaching voice lessons and singing with her bands Helios and Top Secret.
