Introducing Ronstadt Revolution, Northern California's premier tribute band honoring the timeless music of Linda Ronstadt.
Featuring renowned singer and stage performer Natalie Amaya, Ronstadt Revolution consists of veteran musicians who have played onstage with Elvis Presley, Alvaro Torres, Sheryl Crow, Tina Turner and many others.
Natalie Amaya
Natalie grew up in bilingual home filled with music, much like Linda Ronstadt. Her father sang everything from Frank Sinatra to Mario Lanza and Pedro Infante, while her mother loved to sing harmony to classic R&B and rock music. Natalie began singing at a young age with a focus on classical music, but she also developed a love for classic rock and musical theatre. Natalie earned her Actors Equity card at 23 years old with the Los Angels production and National tour of the musical "Selena Forever." When she returned to the Bay Area, Natalie continued to perform in musicals at numerous theaters, most recently In the Heights at Center Rep. In 2005, Natalie was a finalist in the Univision TV show "Objetivo Fama." She also shared the stage with Alvaro Torres, singing his duet with Selena, "Buenos Amigos" in Puerto Rico, Mexico, and her father's home country, El Salvador. Natalie currently resides in the SF Bay Area teaching voice lessons, performing with Ronstadt Revolution, and singing with her bands Helios and Top Secret.
Marisa Barley
Marisa was born in Oakland, California, where her love for music began. She has sung and performed in various choirs and numerous bands for most of her life. Marisa's musical influences include Natalie Cole, Earth, Wind & Fire, Aretha Franklin, and Linda Ronstadt. Marisa continually studies voice and acting -- keep an eye out for her in on a TV commercial or in a film as she continues to grow as an artist and pursues her passion for the arts.
Brayden Cone
Brayden is a seasoned drummer out of the San Francisco Bay Area who has studied with Jeff Campitelli (recording and touring drummer with Joe Satriani). Brayden has also played with Carlos Reyes and has recorded with his Ronstadt Revolution band colleague Don Schiff (chapman stick expert). In addition to being a talented drummer, Brayden possess a lifelong passion for music and plays many other instruments including guitar, bass, and percussion. Currently Brayden is expanding his talents into music recording and production. Brayden's musical interests and playing style includes Jazz, Progressive Rock, Progressive Metal, Thrash Metal, Punk Rock, contemporary/classic rock, Latin Groove, Alternative -- he's essentially ready to tackle any musical genre you'd like to throw at him!
David Esparza
David Esparza has over 25 years of experience playing keyboards and singing in a variety of bands throughout Northern California. David brings his talents to Ronstadt Revolution, and his other band Helios, as band leader as well as an arranger. David has also acted as a band promoter and booking agent for his bands. David's relentless enthusiasm and love of music is infectious, and he is excited about the ambitious goals ahead for the Ronstadt Revolution band.
Don Schiff
Don brings decades of experience playing guitar, Chapman Stick, NS/Stick, and bowed guitar on recordings, TV, and film sessions. Don is well-known as one of the earliest Stick, NS/Stick, and bowed guitar players. He helped popularize the NS/Stick and his technique of using a carabiner as a slide and tapping device. A native of Wilmington, Delaware, Don moved to Las Vegas immediately after high school in 1974. Within five months, Don got his first break when he was hired as the 'house bassist' for the Flamingo Las Vegas and Hilton Hotel Showrooms. There, he played for such artists as Elvis Presley, Tina Turner, Peggy Lee, Sammy Davis, Jr., Ann-Margret, Perry Como, and The 5th Dimension, as well as others. Today, Don continues his musical journey as a songwriter, recording artist, solo performing artist and band musician. Over the past several years, Don has performed throughout Northern California where he resides, on the East Coast, and across Europe.
Craig Relyea
Craig grew up in Southern California, where he studied classical guitar at UCLA under the legendary Theodore Norman while also performing with several rock bands in and around the Los Angeles area. Craig performed as the lead guitarist in the house band at the Troubadour in West Hollywood just a few summers after Linda Rondstadt played there. In addition to his rock ‘n’ roll roots, Craig enjoys a variety of musical genres and has played in blues, r&b, swing, and jazz bands along with performing as a solo guitarist. He has also written, performed, and recorded soundtracks for several commercials and educational films. Over the past decade, Craig’s solo guitar work has attracted a loyal following on social media, and his original songs and arrangements can be found on Spotify and other music streaming services. Passionate about the healing power of playing an instrument, Craig teaches guitar and is a volunteer instructor with CoachArt, a non-profit organization supporting families impacted by childhood chronic illness.
Jeff Teczon
Jeff is a grammy nominated saxophonist who also plays keyboards and sings. Jeff has over 50 years of professional experience and comes from a family of musicians with long and successful musical backgrounds. Jeff brings joy and life to the stage, providing that "magic" that makes music such an important part of life.
